Wesseling t/o 2314 Ludford Magna on ABC duties - F/O SW Cook RCAF
Crashed at Drunen (Noord-Brabant), a large village 3 km
E of Waalwijk, Holland. F/O Cook RCAF, who came from Santa Fe in
Tennessee, is buried in the Canadian section of Bergen op Zoom
War Cemetery while the others who died rest at Jonkerbos War
Cemetery. Sgt Jagger was the specialist operator.

Wesseling t/o 2317 Ludford Magna similarly tasked - P/O G Hingley
On the home leg, shot down by a night-fighter and
crashed in the Biesbosch estuary near Werkendam (Noord-Brabant),
20 km NNE of Oosterhout. Of the two who died, F/S Duff rests in
Werkendam Protestant Cemetery but Sgt Keogh has no known grave.
P/O Hingley landed on a bridge and was admitted to hospital with
a broken thigh bone.
