This memorial is in All Saints Church, Great Steeping, Spilsby, Lincolnshire, England:  the Church is on the old airfield boundary, opposite Great Steeping School. A Memorial Tablet and Memorial Book

A Memorial Tablet and Memorial Book in memory of those who served at RAF Spilsby from October 1943 to October 1945 were unveiled at the Dedication Service on 8th May 1992  by Wg Cdr Peter Jennings DFC, 207 Sqn's first CO at Spilsby.

A memorial to all who served at RAF Spilsby was unveiled by 207 Squadron Spilsby veterans on 25 August 2001 on the site of the airfield (see Spilsby Airfield link on the left of your screen).

44 Sqn memorial in Gt Steeping Church

In addition to the 207 Squadron memorial, Great Steeping Church also has a Memorial Tablet to No.44 Squadron, with which No.207 Squadron shared RAF Spilsby from September 1944 to July 1945.

Lancaster Flight Honours 207 Squadron Memorial Inauguration
The flypast by the BBMF Lancaster at the dedication of the 207 Memorial Plaque in All Saints' Church, Great Steeping on 8th May 1992. Narrated by the then OC BBMF Sqn Leader Andy Tomalin. The film aircraft is ex-207 Devon VP981 (see Devons pages), then used as BBMF's 'bus'.
