Tandem fly-by celebration for two former RAF pilots

Two veteran pilots from RAF Linton-on-Ouse near York are celebrating 40 years of flying solo with a tandem fly by.

Aviation Officer Dick Shuster and Flight Lieutenant Alan Mawby joined the Royal Air Force in the 1960s. Between them they clocked up a massive 15,000 flying hours - much of which has been spent on reconnaissance duty.

The pair have travelled the world and achieved many great feats during their long careers
