Station Chapel, RAF Marham, Norfolk

No.207 Squadron was based at Marham from May 1951 to May 1964, progressing from B-29 Washingtons to Canberras to Valiants.

On 3rd Dec 1954 Canberra WH906 crashed on approach and its crew of three were killed. 

On 6th May 1964, Valiant WZ363 crashed near Market Rasen and the crew of five was killed. 

A Scroll commemorating these casualties and the service of the Squadron in the front line making deterrence credible was dedicated in the Chapel at RAF Marham on 12th July 1997 in the presence of the Station Commander and four former Commanding Officers of 207 Squadron at Marham.
